These people looted an item off a GM ship that was destroyed. IT was the base starting equipment of the ship.
This game could have had that slightly removed with a simple database procedure, yet this remains in game, and worse is traded for a base-commodity blueprint not available anywhere else.

ruffles: perhaps you should read up on what really happened before you go shooting your mouth off. I am not affiliated with TTI nor have i ever met a TTi member, but a dev member came on and explained what happend a few days ago. So stop with the bull.
Furthermore, what difference does it make? "the rich get richer"?? big deal! They have used a unique situation to their advantage to gain a head start on the rest of you. Good on TTi i say. Did you think that everyone would instantly get a miner II the day they get rel'd?
Or would the bigger corps who can afford the bp's now get them first? HMMMMMM tricky question?

It's nice how CCP corrected the mistake.
The player met with a jovian and was presented with a tech 2 miner bp. Meeting with a jove is suppost to be one of the most rewarding things in the game and im glad to see it still is.
They also introduced tech 2 items that will be available for all. Isn't that what everyone wanted?
